I began working on this Vintage Modern Series using old 1940 -1950’s photographs of my parents, I call the collection, "Vintage Modern” because I am restoring vintage photos and using modern technology to digitally integrate them into composite works of art.

Many of the original photographs were taken by my father in Ocean City, Maryland in the 1950’s. My father was one of the first photographers to walk the beach of Ocean City and take photographs. He also designed one of the first telescope pictures using a negative, cut pipe and glass.  

Growing up I would go to the attic and find the hundreds of his photographs. I was told my Dad would develop the images and my Mom would do the hand coloring overnight so the photos would be ready in the morning
